Getting started with Nebli Environment

From an invitation to your first look at the network: the map, one node, and the alerts.

Who this is for: anyone joining an organisation in Nebli Environment, such as an operator watching for alerts, an engineer keeping the sensors running, or an analyst reading the data.

What you need before you start:

  • An invitation. Nobody signs up alone: someone in your organisation invites you, with a role. To ask about access for your organisation, use the form at nebli.ai/environment.
  • The work email address you were invited with.
  • A browser. Every screen also works on a phone.

1. Sign in

Go to env.nebli.ai, enter your work email and choose Send code. Nebli Environment emails you an eight-character code, shown as XXXX-XXXX. Type it in any case, with or without the dash. The code works once, for a few minutes, in the browser that asked for it. There are no passwords.

If you have trouble signing in, contact whoever administers your organisation.

Nebli Environment starts in your browser's language, English or Spanish. You can change it at any time from your menu or from Settings.

2. See where it is bad: the map

Map shows every node in your organisation, coloured by the value of one channel. For a city network the map starts on the air-quality index; otherwise it starts on PM2.5. Choose another channel and the map recolours. Open alerts are marked on their nodes.

Zoomed out, nodes close together merge into one marker that shows how many there are and the worst value among them. Zoom in to separate them. Hover over a node to see its current value, and click it to open its page.

3. See what is happening at one node

A node's page shows its name, kind, site and status, how it is powered, how it is connected, when it was last heard from, and its % valid data: the share of expected readings that arrived and were not suspect, over the period you choose.

Below that are its current values with a trend, then a chart for each channel.

4. See what needs you: the alerts

Alerts lists every open alert in your organisation, newest first. Each one shows the node, the channel, the value against its threshold and how long the alert has been open. Acknowledge an alert to show it is being handled, or Close it. Closed alerts are one click away, in the same layout.

An alert appears on the map, on the node's page and in Alerts within a minute of the value crossing its threshold.
