For property owners and heads of security

Looking for a drone for security?

The drone is half the solution. Without a live stream, the video stays on the pilot's controller; without recording, there is no evidence; and with no one watching, there is no security. Below is the equipment that works, and the platform that turns it into security: live video on your phone, recorded, with AI watching and alerting.

In short: Hover is the platform that brings the live video from your drones and cameras to a private page you watch from your phone, tablet, or computer. It streams over cellular or satellite, with no fixed install, and the AI watches every feed: describe what matters to you in plain language and you get the alert in the moment, with the event recorded. If you already have equipment, start free today; if not, we connect you with a partner integrator.

Which drone to buy?

Buy it wherever you prefer; what matters is that it streams. This is what we see working on real properties:

A drone with a camera that streams

Consumer and enterprise DJI models work with Hover over RTMP, with a step-by-step guide. For perimeter rounds and alert response: take off, look, come back. Any drone that emits RTMP or RTSP works; no need to marry a brand.

Fixed cameras for the critical points

Gate, warehouse, perimeter corners. Any IP camera that speaks RTSP connects as-is, including the one you already have installed. The drone covers what the fixed cameras miss; the fixed cameras cover the 24 hours.

The connection you already have

LTE, Starlink, or the site's cellular network. No civil works, no new wiring, no open ports. If the signal drops, the relay retransmits and the video recovers.

But note: that equipment, on its own, does not watch. The drone's video stays on the pilot's controller, the camera records and no one is watching it, and the incident is discovered the next day. Hover is the layer that turns it into security: everything arrives live on a private page on your phone, it is recorded with a timestamp, and the AI watches every feed to alert you in the moment.

What happens without that layer?

The cameras record, but no one is watching them. The incident is discovered the next day, in the recording.
The guard cannot be everywhere, and the perimeter's blind spots are exactly where they come in.
You already have the drone, but the video stays on the pilot's controller. Whoever decides is not seeing it.
The site's signal is weak and video from other apps freezes right when it matters.
01

How it works

1 Connect your equipment.

A drone (DJI included, with a step-by-step guide) or cameras that stream RTSP or RTMP. No civil works or new wiring.

2 Watch it live, from wherever you are.

A private, PIN-protected page that opens on any phone, with no app to install. If the signal drops, the relay retransmits and the video recovers.

3 The AI watches with you, day and night.

Describe what you want it to watch in plain language: it detects people, vehicles, and anomalies, alerts you the moment it happens, and every event is recorded with a timestamp.

Frequently asked questions

Which drone should I buy?

For watching a property, a drone with a stabilized camera and good endurance; consumer DJI models (Mini or Mavic series) cover most cases, and enterprise models add zoom and thermal. Buy wherever you prefer: any drone that streams RTMP or RTSP works with Hover, and DJI models have a step-by-step guide.

How much does it cost?

Start free with one deployment and your own equipment. Crew is US$149 a month with up to 5 deployments, and Fleet, US$999 a month, adds live AI detection, cross-camera intelligence, and up to 8 deployments. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Do I need to own a drone?

Not necessarily. Cameras that stream RTSP are enough to start; the drone adds the aerial view fixed cameras cannot give. If you do not have equipment yet, we connect you with a partner security integrator who installs and operates it.

Does it work for my warehouse, community, or job site?

Yes. It works on any property with cellular coverage: warehouses, communities, job sites, plants, lots, and farms. No civil works or new wiring; the equipment streams over LTE, Starlink, or the site's cellular network.

Who can see the video?

You decide. The video lives on a private, PIN-protected page that opens on any phone with no app to install. You share it with your security team, your family, or your manager.

What does the AI detect?

Whatever you describe in plain language: people, vehicles, and anomalies. For example, a person on the perimeter at night or a vehicle stopped at the gate. It alerts you in the moment and leaves the event recorded with a timestamp.

Does it work on weak cellular signal?

Yes. The relay streams over LTE, Starlink, or cellular and retransmits through signal drops, so the video does not freeze right when it matters.

I am a security company or integrator. Is this for me?

Yes, and there is a page for you: security integrators. It lays out the model for bringing live video and AI alerts to your own clients, under your brand.
